I found this hotel to be a fantastic base for exploring the town, being just a 15-minute walk from The Alnwick Garden and only about a kilometer from the stunning Tenantry Column. the generous breakfast portions really fueled my city strolls while the staff were friendly and made my stay enjoyable.

the oaks was very well located just a short walk to the town centre. the room had a massive bed, which was a delight! the breakfast offered a nice combination of cooked options and a buffet with fresh fruit and croissants.

The radiator settings were finicky, causing the room to feel stifling upon arrival. While we eventually cooled it down, the initial heat made it a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant environment felt chilly during breakfast, affecting the dining experience. some meals lacked the quality expected, with variability in taste and freshness that was disappointing.

The food was simply top-notch, especially the steak and ale pie. Eating here was a real treat!

Had a lovely time with a super clean room and a hearty breakfast that hit the spot! The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and I also appreciated having the bar nearby to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the bedside outlet situation could use some improvement, but it didn't impact my stay at all. 😊

The room was nice and warm, perfect for dog owners. Breakfast had fresh croissants, cereal, fruit, and a choice of a full English or sandwiches. The staff were super friendly, and there was a cozy outdoor area for meals. My dog even got a sausage!

Had a fantastic time with my friends! The location is perfect for exploring some great spots, like the beautiful gardens and local pubs. We loved hanging out in our quadruple room while catching up on our favourite shows on Freeview TV. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was solid. Highly recommend staying here for a chilled group getaway.

The only downside was that the coffee at the bar was not up to par during our visit, which was a bit disappointing.

The breakfast was amazing with staff even bringing our little Jack Russel his own sausage. The staff made a safe place for our bags when we had a car emergency and recommended local garages so we could sort it out quickly.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for the quality we got.

Despite these small issues, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and I'd recommend it for a casual getaway or family trips.
